When The Snow Stopped

I took these pictures when the snow stopped, around 5:00 yesterday afternoon.

The first is from our front porch, where it wraps around toward the back of the house. Shawn put the Miata in our two-car garage with the one-car door before the storm started. The Honda and Ford are buried under PILES of snow.

The second picture was taken out the east window of one of our guest bedrooms, looking out on to the roof of our mudroom/downstairs bathroom. The pitch of the roof over the main house is steep enough (and the wind was blowing hard enough) that we didn't get much snow on the roof.

This roof gets full sun, so will wait and see how it looks at the end of the afternoon before deciding if we need to push the snow off on to our back porch.

The third picture is the obligatory patio furniture shot. I really need to get a cover for that set! Oh well... nothing that a little touch-up with Krylon come springtime can't fix!

And finally, a shot of our backyard. For a little contrast, look at the picture of the same scene I posted after our mid-January snowstorm.

No comparison!
