It seems every place I've ever lived has come with curtains/blinds/shades/shutters already in the house when I got there. Not this house. So we've been looking for curtains, shades, tie backs, valences, rods, finials... if it covers a window, we've probably looked at it. And after pricing "window treatments," I realize now why I should have paid better attention to Ms. DeCan in eighth grade Home Ec when she was trying to teach me to wind a bobbin....
