The Going-to-the-Sun Road winds through the center of the Park -- 52 miles of cliff-hugging hairpin turns on steep mountain roads, each turn revealing a vista more spectacular than the last!
In several places, the road was reduced to a single lane to allow workers to shore up the pavement before it tumbled into the gorges!
There were times I was sure we were going to plunge to our deaths off the side, but we made it from one end to the other, intact.
I'm glad I wasn't driving!
