Once again, we decided to ditch the Turnpike in favor of backroads. This time, we took US Route 219 -- the Mason Dixon Highway -- south from Somerset, PA to I-68 in Cumberland, MD. 68 runs across the panhandle of Maryland, and meets up with 70 at Hancock.We stopped at the Burkholder Bridge outside of Berlin, PA to stretch our legs and let the dog run around for a bit.
