King Tut

Shawn and I drove to Philadelphia this weekend to catch the King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute -- that tiny green dot at the top of the steps is me. I had seen many of the artifacts before when I was in Egypt in 2003, but wanted to see how well they traveled.

The tickets were sort of expensive ($35/person) and the lines were terribly long -- which is why we saw the show late on Easter Sunday afternoon -- but it was worth the effort! We wandered around the museum for an hour to kill some time before the main event. I've included some pictures -- we saw everything from a Wright Brothers flyer to moon rocks -- though none of Tut, since cameras were prohibited inside the exhibit.
