Shawn and I flew to Michigan this weekend to catch up with some far-flung members of the Miller clan. We met my sister Judy, who lives in Rancho Cucamonga, California, at a little dive bar in Mason on Friday night. We were lured there by the promise of cold beer, hot wings, and Keno. None of us are any good at Keno (is anyone??), but we had better luck with the pull-tab lottery tickets. That top ticket won $100 -- enough to cover our losses AND pay the bar tab.
Not bad...
