Labor Day on the Potomac

Finding a place to hike and fish is becoming a Labor Day tradition for us.

As long as we have as perfect weather as we did today, we can do it every year!

We drove up to Harper's Ferry, not knowing what to expect. There were crowds at all the major access points, so we decided to park a little off the beaten path and hike it.

We saw a few other fishermen, a canoeist or two, but not much else, where we waded in.

While Shawn caught a few fish, Crockett found some dead ones to roll in. Once he got on the scent, there was no stopping him.

Needless to say, it was a SMELLY ride home.

Shawn writes about our day here.
