Third Time's a Charm

Finally, we hit the fishing spot jackpot, when Mitch took us to a pond in a utility right-of-way closer to home. It was full of lily pads and small-mouth bass.

We had quite a time getting around, because there wasn't really a path. We had to muck our way through mud, thistles, fallen logs, and undergrowth. I'm sure I'm covered in poison ivy and ticks.

Crockett loved it! He was muddy, stinky, and thoroughly exhausted at the end of the afternoon.
