It rained so hard this afternoon that I couldn't see the back fence from the porch. The wind blew so hard - local news said gusts were measured at 70 mph - that the tops of our 30-foot tall cottonwood trees bent over to the ground. During the storm, which lasted less than 10 minutes, we heard a couple of large cracks. Thunder, we thought. Fallen tree, actually.
We're still amazed that it didn't damage the garage at all. Can hardly wait to see how much it's going to cost to clean it up!
