Shawn shot these photos while he was wandering the streets of Manhattan today: the Veterans Day Parade on Fifth Avenue, the Central Park reservoir, and Times Square at dusk (notice Peyton Manning on the Jumbotron!).I have a conference in New York this weekend, so he tagged along for the food (dinner Friday night at Mesa Grill) and the bright lights. We were a bit disappointed by the Broadway strike -- we had plans to see Spamalot with a group from the conference. We made do by going to a comedy club instead.
For mid-November, the weather (except the monsoon that was waiting for us when we stepped out of Penn Station) was incredibly pleasant.
