At The American History Museum
That's me in front of Julia Child's kitchen.
Julia's become sort of trendy lately -- all the kids tell me "I loved that movie!" -- but I'm a fan from way back. Many years ago, I found a virtually unused first edition of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" at a flea market for $5.00. I don't think that would happen today!

Small Craft Warning? Ha!
Despite a weather forecast of strong winds, high seas, and rain, we decided to do a little fishing before a cold front blew away all the warm weather. It was a little rough on the open water on the way to our fishing spot, but once we got there, it was (relatively) calm.
Since I am the poster girl for Maryland Catch & Release, I had to include a shot of me letting a big rockfish go!

Cory's Chainsaw Buddy
We took Brendon Wright up on his offer to have Easter dinner with his family at their farm in Rhea County. The farm is a little more than an hour outside of Knoxville, near the town of Dayton.
Once you leave the main road (US Rte. 27 - the same one that goes all the way to the Mackinac Bridge), you climb up the mountain on a winding road that you hope (fingers crossed) can accommodate two-way traffic. The scenery at the top, however, is worth the trip.
