Tournament Fishing

Shawn fished a tournament today. This was his prize catch - amazingly, it didn't win.

The tournament is sponsored by the Severn River Rod & Keg Club. I think the kegs are at least as much of an attraction as the rods are!

Ella's Second Birthday

We drove to Tennessee this weekend for Ella's second birthday party.

Hard to believe that our little girl is a full-fledged toddler now! She seemed oblivious to the fact that she was the center of attention. As long as she had a bottle of bubbles or a playground ride, she was perfectly content to leave the grown-ups to do their own thing.

Cake was a distraction from playing!

Georgetown Dog

Shawn took Dann & Lisa on a Potomac cruise to see the monuments and cherry blossoms from another vantage point. They tied up at the Georgetown waterfront and I met them down there for dinner. We heard a rumor that there were going to be fireworks at sunset, so we headed out after dinner, only to learn that the show had been the night before. Oh well...
